Sandown Symposium 2001

The UK's premiere R/C show has shrunk yet again! After the demise of the lower floor last year, it was the upper floor's turn this time. Consequently the remaining space became very crowded at times.

Christophe Paysant-le Roux thrilled the crowds with amazing low level aerobatics with his YS-powered Majestique.

News: Stu Blanchard has pulled out of the USA business and is manufacturing exclusively in the UK from now on. Watch out for ads in the model press. Alan Head had his new 60" Python flying wing for EPP pylon racing.

The irrepressible Stan Yeo of Phoenix Model Products showing he likes his Rico-She!
The model is designed for 60" EPP pylon racing. Stan was upbeat despite FMD affecting sales.

The lovely Kate shows Stu's smart model bags. Suitable for F3B/F3F machines with 2-piece wings.

The Leaning Portaloo of Pisa? No, it's Stu's airline-proof model box...

This soarer from France folds up into a small bag which could easily be carried as hand luggage aboard a plane.

That's all, I'm afraid - it was so crowded that photography was a no-no most of the time. See you there next year!
