COOL GADGET! Dave Woods' talking wind meter. Make a call from this radio, and Dave's anemometer will tell you the wind speed and direction in English! The anemometer is linked to a speech synthesiser which talks into a matching tranceiver. Very clever, and serious use was made of it during the comp.
